The Nevertown Three was created, drawn and written by Toronto illustrator Stephen Hutchings.
After working for many years as an illustrator of books and magazines, Stephen wanted to taken advantage of the digital format to create his own stories.
“I like to see kids reading for fun, and I wanted to contribute some stories of my own. Whether they’re called graphic novels or comic books I know I‘ve always found the right combination of words and pictures irresistible!”
The story was translated by Canadian Monica Hutchings, who has lived and worked as a translator in France for ten years. She has made the language in our french version ,“Le Trio de Jamaisville”, as neutral as possible. This way the story can be enjoyed by immersion students and native speakers alike.
